Kedarnath (Rudraprayag), 27 May: During the inspection, Murugesan examined the newly built police outpost at Kedarnath Dham, along with its residential facilities. He interacted with devotees in the temple complex to gather feedback on their pilgrimage experiences. Murugesan also reviewed the newly introduced token counter system for darshan and assessed the crowd management measures for pilgrims. Prioritising safety, he directed the deployment of additional police forces and issued instructions for effective queue and crowd management at the temple.

Later, the ADG inspected the pilgrimage route from Phata to Sonprayag. On this occasion, he instructed the officials to ensure smooth vehicle entry and exit procedures. He monitored queue management for shuttle services between Sonprayag and Gaurikund and stressed the need for uninterrupted shuttle operations. In view of the increasing morning crowds, he issued directives to keep queue systems well-organised.

In Sonprayag, Deputy Superintendents of Police Harshvardhani Suman and Vikas Pundir, Police Station In-charge Rakendra Kathait, and Traffic Inspector Kailash Chandra Sharma were also present along with other police personnel.
